In collaboration with the National Comprehensive Cancer Research Consortium (NCCRC) and the African Academy of Integrated Morphology and Health Sciences (AAIMHS)

We are pleased to announce the 4th PACRI International Annual Meeting and invite submission of abstracts for presentation at this premier gathering of African and global leaders in cancer research, clinical practice, policy, and patient advocacy. The meeting, held under the theme “Bridging Cancer Science and Medicine in Africa: Driving Innovation and Equity for Transformative Impact,” will provide a robust platform for interdisciplinary dialogue, knowledge exchange, and collaborative action.

This landmark event will explore the latest advancements in cancer science and their translation into equitable, patient-centred cancer care across the African continent. Delegates will engage in conversations spanning precision oncology, genomics, artificial intelligence, the cancer exposome, and the unique intersections between cancer and infectious diseases in Africa. Special emphasis will be placed on pediatric oncology, cultural considerations in cancer care, disparities in access to clinical trials, and the pivotal role of patient advocacy in shaping cancer research and policy.

Researchers, clinicians, policymakers, public health experts, advocates, and postgraduate students are invited to contribute to the conference by submitting abstracts aligned with the meeting’s key thematic areas, including but not limited to:

  • Precision oncology and genomics
  • Early detection, screening, and innovative technologies
  • Clinical trials access and equity in Africa
  • Cancer and infectious disease intersections
  • Pediatric oncology
  • Cultural influences on cancer treatment and care
  • Environmental exposures and the cancer exposome
  • Patient advocacy and policy reform
  • International collaboration and capacity building
