Information and Match-Making Webinar RFA: HDI Capacity Development Grants for Investigator-Initiated Research: HIV Implementation Science in the Clinical Setting

The South African Medical Research Council (SAMRC) announced a focused Request for Applications for HDI Capacity Development Grants for Investigator-Initiated Research on HIV Implementation Science in the Clinical Setting. In order to facilitate linkages with our partner in this program, Johns Hopkins University (JHU) in the USA, the SAMRC and JHU will be hosting a joint webinar on Wednesday 24 January 2024 from 16.00 – 18.00 SAST. We invite eligible researchers from historically disadvantaged institutions (HDIs) in South Africa to attend.

The webinar is aimed primarily at raising awareness of the HIV research agenda at JHU and the various HDIs to facilitate potential collaborations. Colleagues from JHU will present on their research areas and researchers from the South African HDIs are encouraged to briefly present on theirs. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions on the RFA and submission requirements. Please use the following link to register for the webinar:
