Dr Annibale Cois is an Epidemiologist and Biostatistician. His background includes Master Degrees in Electrical Engineering (University of Cagliari, Italy) and Public Health (University of Cape Town), and a PhD in Public Health (University of Cape Town). His research focuses primarily on the epidemiology of non-communicable diseases and associated risk factors in low- and middle-income countries and the application of advanced statistical methods for the joint analysis of multiple heterogeneous data sources.  He holds an honorary position as a Senior Lecturer in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the School of Public Health of the University of Cape Town and is affiliated with the University of Greenwich in London as Visiting Research Fellow.
