Aviwe Belani is a scientist in the Gender and Health Research Unit, working under the supervision of Professor Sikweyiya, Chief Specialist Scientist. His research focuses on men’s mental health and the prevention of gender-based violence in higher education institutions. Passionate about evidence-based solutions, he is dedicated to promoting mental well-being, advancing gender equity, and fostering safer learning environments for young people. Aviwe holds a Master’s in Public Health from Walter Sisulu University.
