Mbalenhle Shabalala is a research technologist/ facilitator for the RICE study, based in Durban. She has a Bachelor of Social Sciences (psychology) degree majored in general psychology and industrial psychology and a post graduate certificate is education. Her duties include recruitment of rape and gender-based violence exposed participants, conducting interviews, facilitating group sessions as well as retention of participants.
