Lesley-Ann Erasmus-Claassen is a Project Coordinator in the Mental Health, Alcohol, Substance Use and Tobacco Research Unit of the South African Medical Research Council (SAMRC).

She has a Psychology (B Psych) degree from the University of the Western Cape and a Higher Certificate in Management from the Foundation for Professional Development.

She previously worked for the Desmond Tutu TB Centre, at Stellenbosch University on a large scale HPTN study and joined the SAMRC in 2015 fulfilling in several roles.

Her experience and expertise include oversight of multiple research studies, including but not limited to the supervision and training of field staff, study coordination, quality control and quality assurance of data, data management and general project administration.
