This initiative, supported by the SAMRC, the Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) and the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI), aims to strengthen regulatory capacity in South Africa’s medical devices and diagnostics sector by providing graduates with hands-on training in regulatory compliance.

- Have, or are working towards, ISO13485 certification;
- Are in the process of registering products locally or internationally;
- Are willing to host science/technical graduates for 6 months full-time; and
- Are committed to either absorb the individual into the company or to find an appropriate placement for them after completion of the internship.
