Jethro is a motivated and detailed-oriented professional with years of experience across local government, finance, and education. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from (MANCOSA) and is currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management through MANCOSA, His professional background includes experience in financial administration, project administration, compliance, community engagement, and stakeholder relations.

Jethro serves Grants Innovation and Product development (GIPD) Team as a Programme Assistant. He is responsible for the Strategic Health Innovation Partnership, to provide support to the unit with reference to general administration, project administration and procurement: supplies, services, local and international travel on the JD Edwards System, processing of subsistence and travel payments; research publication outputs; stakeholder management.

Jethro joined the SAMRC in May 2026 and brings with him many years of experience within organizations such as the City of Cape Town, Old Mutual South Africa, TFG Limited and the Western Cape Education Department.
