Zamankomose serves the Grants, Innovation and Product Development (GIPD) Unit as a Technology Transfer Officer.

In this role, she is responsible for Intellectual Property (IP) management and technology transfer support, the management of the project portfolio, stakeholder liaison, and other key GIPD activities.

With over seven years of experience in the intellectual property and technology transfer landscape, she has contributed her expertise to several esteemed institutions, including the University of KwaZulu-Natal’s InQubate, the National Health Laboratory Service (NHLS), and the Department of Science, Technology, and Innovation (DSTI)’s National Intellectual Property Management Office (NIPMO).
