Education
Dr. Zenzele Ndlovu holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and is finalizing a PGDip in Management Practice from the University of Cape Town Graduate Business School.

Prior to joining the SAMRC, she worked at the Technology Transfer Office at the University of the Western Cape, as a Technology Transfer Officer. She also participated in a national commercialization programme hosted by the Technology Innovation Agency (TIA), where she spent 2 years acquiring knowledge on intellectual property management, technology transfer, fundraising, and commercialization. During this programme, she was seconded to various stakeholders in the national system of Innovation, including Savant Technology Incubator, Brian Bacon IP Attorneys, and Knife Capital. She joined the SAMRC in July 2018 as a Project Manager: Technology, where she is responsible for managing the SAMRC’s intellectual property and commercialization of viable technologies. She plays a vital role in the SAMRC-PATH Global Health Innovation Accelerator, MeDDIC, and manages grants within the GIPD HIV programme as well as the SAMRC-TSF program.
