Amy Sheldon is an intern (through the DSI-HSRC Internship Programme) within the Environment and Health Research Unit (EHRU) at the South African Medical Research Council (SAMRC). She has a BA degree in English Language and Literature, as well as an MA degree in Film Studies – both obtained from the University of Cape Town (UCT). Amy provides support within the EHRU related to public engagement strategies, science communication tools and the like.
