She recently completed her MPhil in Environmental and Geographical Science at the University of Cape Town (UCT) and is currently awaiting her examination results. Her Masters research examined the social determinants of health, focusing on how food insecurity, stigma and social support affect medication non-adherence among TB and HIV patients, drawing on the perspectives of practitioners and community healthcare workers through qualitative methods. Her broader research interests centre on how social and physical environments shape health and development outcomes, particularly among vulnerable populations in South Africa.
