Martin has a BSc Honours degree in Biochemistry whereby his project focus was Bioinformatics and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Biochemistry and Microbiology from the University of Zululand in 2018. Currently he is completing his Master’s Degree in Biochemistry. His  primary focus is Quality Control, receiving and logging samples onto Laboratory Information Management system, isolation of DNA and RNA from blood, stool, saliva, and tissue samples. Martins  responsibilities also include management of assets and ensuring laboratory equipment is well maintained.
