Zukiswa Jiki is a Research Technologist at the Genomics Centre. She has a BSc Honours degree in Physiology from the University of Cape Town, as well as a BSc Physiology and Anatomy degree from the North West University. The primary scope of her work includes preparing sequencing libraries, conducting next generation sequencing reactions and analysing and reporting on quality control data. Her responsibilities also include extraction of DNA and RNA from biological samples, data capturing on a laboratory information management system, as well as writing standard operating procedures for the Centre.
