Intellectual Property Management

The SAMRC’s Technology Transfer office requires disclosure of any potential intellectual property (IP) developed by SAMRC researchers using the standard invention disclosure form. RIMS will facilitate some of the IP processes such as invention disclosure, evaluation of inventions/IP for patentability and commercial feasibility, to file, prosecute and maintain patent/design/trademark applications, and to manage the copyrights process in line with the SAMRC’s IP Policy, and in conjunction with the IPR Act.
