Publications Management

The RIMS publications module was implemented in 2019 and has been the official institutional repository for SAMRC research outputs across research units. Publications are captured manually or harvested from various sources and uploaded to the RIMS. This process includes approval by Unit Directors and validation by the Knowledge and Information Management Services (KIMS) team. This process is crucial for enabling organisational reporting to various stakeholders through the quarterly reporting process.
