Dr Motlatso Godongwana is demographer with expertise in mixed-methods research. She has extensive experience in the use of quantitative and qualitative methodologies in the field of HIV/TB research and has developed expertise in the analysis of longitudinal data. Her current research interests are in burden of disease, with a particular interest in the prevention and management of chronic comorbidities and the reporting of comorbidity data. She completed her PhD in Demography at the University of the Witwatersrand where her research focused on assessing the dynamics of HIV and Noncommunicable disease comorbidities.
