Bradley is a Disaster and Climate Risk Specialist at the World Bank’s Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR) based in Johannesburg, South Africa. A climate scientist by training, Bradley specialises in understanding the interplay between society and the environment, with a focus on how climate change impacts the most vulnerable and marginalised populations. In his role at the GFDRR, Bradley leads collaborative initiatives to tackle climate-related challenges, particularly within South African cities. He brings extensive experience in disaster risk management practices and the use of geospatial data to assess risks and enhance community preparedness for disasters. Bradley has been actively involved in various urban and climate resilience projects across South African cities, leveraging his expertise to strengthen disaster preparedness and climate adaptation strategies.

His work contributes significantly to building resilient communities capable of withstanding the adverse effects of climate change and addressing other developmental challenges.
