Siyathemba Kunene is a Senior Research Technologist for the Climate Change and Human Health (CC&HH) research programme in the Environment and Health Research Unit (E&HRU) at the South African Medical Research Council (SAMRC). He holds a BA in Social Sciences from the University of the Witwatersrand. Siyathemba has extensive experience in air quality research and is responsible for the research coordination of various CCHH research projects. He effectively engages with multiple stakeholders and authorities to ensure that the programme’s research projects are carried out successfully across different communities. Siyathemba Kunene is passionate about generating knowledge that alleviates vulnerable communities and making an impact by disseminating valuable information back to the community.
