Dr Tracey Laban is a Senior Scientist whose research focus is on impacts of air pollution and climate change on human health. She holds a PhD in atmospheric science from North-West University. Having worked in both the public and private sector, she has experience in operational environments as well as developing and implementing policies and strategies to address climate and environmental impacts. She returned to a researcher position at the SAMRC in order to develop a more substantive research track record in the air quality and climate change fields linked to a healthier, more resilient world.
