Shibe is a statistician in the SAMRC’s Gender and Health Research Unit and works closely with Dr Esnat Chirwa (senior biostatistician).  She has been involved in the data management and statistical analysis of projects in the unit, namely the Rape Impact Cohort Evaluation (RICE) Study and the National Study on the injury-related mortality burden in South Africa in the year 2017.  She is interested in longitudinal data analysis methods. Shibe holds a Masters in Biostatistics from the University of Stellenbosch.
