Vuyolwethu Magasana is a Project Leader who completed a Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of Western Cape. Her research has focused on maternal and child health, PMTCT, infant feeding, PrEP, and COVID 19.  She has been involved in PMTCT surveys for more than 15 years working as a Data collector, Provincial Coordinator, and has been involved with the multi-country evaluation of Option B+. She is leading the Socio-behavioral focal area in HIDRU and has been the principal investigator in quite a number of socio-behavioral studies. Her current work is on multiple project management, developing socio-behavioral study protocols and study documents, qualitative data collection, analysis and technical report writing.
