Motlogelwa is a senior programme manager with over 10 years of experience leading complex, donor-funded health-systems strengthening programmes across 20+ African countries. He is currently managing a research-to-policy programme at the South African Medical Research Council (SAMRC), with deep expertise in programme governance, multi-stakeholder coordination, and adaptive leadership in public-health research and consulting environments.

He has a proven track record managing budgets exceeding US $15 million, leading cross-sectoral initiatives spanning academia, government departments, and international donors including UNAIDS, UNDP, the Global Fund, PEPFAR, USAID and UNFPA. He is also skilled in Results-Based Management (RBM), MEL systems, programme governance frameworks, and the advanced application of AI tools for programme delivery and decision-support in public-health contexts.
