Wanga Zembe is a social scientist with a DPhil from Oxford University, who has worked on several maternal and child health research projects in the Unit. Her focal area is Social Policy and Health, with special research interests in the intersection between state income maintenance programmes, poverty alleviation strategies and health outcomes. Current work focuses on the use of cash transfer programs to improve child health, and adolescent health and wellbeing outcomes in low - and middle income countries.
